Funds Available for DC Artists and Arts Organizations
The DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities provides grants to individuals and nonprofit organizations. The Commission is supported primarily by District government funds and in part by the National Endowment for the Arts. The Commission's Guide to Grants book offers information about Commissioners, grant programs and the grants process. Download the FY 2009 Guide to Grants.*
Important Eligibility Requirement: In order to be eligible for grant funding in FY 2009, all outstanding Fiscal Year Final Reports must be submitted for grants previously received from the Commission. Email Sherry Schwechten for more information.
The FY 2009 grant documents have a new look and format.
